Aboriginal Homeless
Outreach Program & Homeless Prevention
Program
Our Aboriginal Homeless Outreach Program provides services to urban Aboriginal peoples and aims to link the chronic or absolutely homeless to housing.
We directly engage with individuals who are homeless and provide linkages to housing, income assistance and other services.
We provide access to services in a culturally sensitive manner, while pursuing their goals toward improved health, well-being and housing ability.
Rent supplements and support services are provided to assist in accessing housing and community-based services.
The Homeless Prevention Program operates, in many instances, as an enhancement to the Aboriginal Homeless Outreach Program and targets individuals at transition points that put them at greater risk of homelessness.
